The Competition Team is the most competitive and structured division of FUMC, preparing students for regional and national AMCA competitions. Members develop advanced oral advocacy, legal writing, and argumentation skills while building strong relationships through practices, competitions, travel, and socials.

Following a successful inaugural year (including a Second-place finish at the University of Chicago Invitational and a bid to the Final Round of the AMCA National Tournament), the team is entering its second year ready to build on last year’s accomplishments.
