2024-25 In-House Competition
Florida Undergraduate Moot Court proudly hosted its first-ever In-House Moot Court Tournament this past year. Teams of two submitted written briefs and presented oral arguments on the American Moot Court Association’s case. The 2024-25 AMCA case featured a Fifth Amendment self-incrimination issue, and a First Amendment Freedom of Speech issue.
During our In-House tournament, fourteen teams competed in three practice and three preliminary oral argument rounds, and eight teams advanced to the final competition day.
2 teams advanced to the final round, where they were judged by lawyers and law professors.
Finalists: Emma Hedler and Nanditha Patoor (on behalf of Petitioner) and Samuel Rodefer and Christopher David (on behalf of Respondent)
